Frequently Asked Questions Dynamics of Motion: Extraordinary Results Anywhere / AnytimeThe simple and extraordinarily effective fitness program that will transform your body into a lean, beautiful physique NOW!
Why start with Level I if I am reasonably fit? Level I builds a solid foundation. Just because someone is reasonably fit does not mean that they are free of muscle imbalances, postural distortions, weak connective tissue and stabilizer muscles as well as over developed muscle groups. Level I will bring the body back into balance allowing for faster pain free muscle gains and quicker weight loss. This is due to the fact that once the body is in balance, the muscles work in harmony which translates into the ability to perform better. Although it may seem strange to take a little more time to go through Level I before moving into more advanced exercises, it actually reduces the amount of time you need to get to your goal. How? Level I will enable you to exponentially increase your potential in Levels II and III.

New exercises are constantly added so as not to allow the body to become stagnant and speed up your progress and more importantly, your results. You will genuinely SEE and FEEL the difference.

Is this program dangerous? No.
If you follow the instructions this program helps to prevent injuries.
Most injuries do not occur in a gym, but outside. This is because most
exercises in the gym do not prepare the individual for real life
movement. This program is designed for two things: One, it builds a
lean, strong, extraordinarily fit body. Two, it strengthens the areas
of the body that are responsible for balance and posture. It also
helps to build agility and coordination. All of these aspects combine
together to build the body up and help PREVENT injuries.
I am older and out of shape, can I still do this Program? Yes!
This program is separated into three levels, each building on the
previous level. Level I is designed to take a person who has past
injuries, has never worked out or is completely out of shape and help
them to regain strength and flexibility. This is done one step at a
time in a natural progression that is safe and incredibly effective.
Each of the levels are flexible in their time frame so as to
accommodate those who need more time to proceed or those who excel
faster.
Shouldn’t I have a trainer? A
truly great trainer is a rare person. A great trainer will look at you
specifically, take into account your past, your job, your injuries,
your fitness level, your posture, your weaknesses and strengths, etc..
and design exercises and stretches specifically for you. Then, the
trainer will progress the exercises based upon your progress, changing
and adjusting as you go. Unfortunately, however, finding a trainer
that is this knowledgeable and passionate about their profession is
very, very difficult. What you will usually find is someone who gives
you a carbon copy of some workout they have studied or read in a
magazine and barely watch your form as you do the exercises poorly.
Not only that, they will not understand the underlying reasons for
doing certain exercises and avoiding others based upon your weaknesses
and strengths. This can lead to mediocre and potentially dangerous
results if you continue to reinforce bad habits and poor posture.
So, if you can find a truly great trainer and afford them (usually around $100 - $150 an hour),
then you have our blessing. But, the information in these books goes
light years beyond what most trainers know and teach to their clients.
You will be able to adjust and progress your workouts easily and
effectively from these programs and understand the reasons for doing
each of the exercises. We have literally hundreds of beautiful photos
to clearly illustrate the form for each and every exercise so you have
no confusion about how to do anything in the books. In addition, each
of the exercises is spelled out very clearly so as to help you proceed
at your own pace while getting the most out of each workout. So,
assuming you either cannot afford or cannot find a great diamond in the
rough trainer, the Dynamics of Motion System will help you achieve
incredible and lasting results.
How will this help me keep weight off? The simple formula is to burn more calories than you take in during the day. The Dynamics of Motion system is a lifestyle that keeps you active and will aid tremendously in keeping weight off. We provide a detailed nutritional chapter to help you incorporate a much healthier eating regimen as well. BY shifting how you eat and exercise, you will see phenomenal health results and the weight will NOT come back.
How fast can I lose weight? IF you lose weight to fast, you throw your body into starvation mode. When the body is in starvation mode it begins to hoard calories because you are telling it that your are starving. It hoards the calories as a preventative measure in case it receives no food in the near future. When done correctly, however, the average person can lose from 2 to 3 pounds a week. This may not seem like much, but keep in mind, if you lose weight in a healthy way, it gives the body time to adjust and thus it will help to make the weight loss much longer lasting. And besides, we're talking about losing mostly fat loss with our system, NOT muscle or water weight. So that means you will look noticeably better in a matter of weeks!
How fast can I gain muscle? On average you can put on about 2 pounds of lean muscle a week. Keep in mind there are many factors that will determine how fast you put on muscle. For example: what you eat, how much of you eat, how hard you work out, and adequate rest. These factors will determine if the weight gain is muscle mass instead of fat mass. Gaining weight too fast simply adds fat pounds to your frame. It does not allow the body time to adjust properly and thus cannot assimilate the nutrients it needs. So, go through our system, eat the way we suggest in the nutritional chapter and you will see big gains in your muscle mass in a relatively short period of time. And it will be by far the healthiest and safest way to do it!
Should I eat before and after a workout? If you are trying to lose body fat, it is best NOT to eat for about an hour before your workout. Eating right before a workout takes blood from the muscles to digest food, slowing down your results. However, sometimes a small bit of fruit or nuts are consumed to help blast through an intense workout. Post workout nutrition is important for rebuilding muscles that were broken down during the workout. Making a post workout smoothie is a great way to blood the body with nutrients while keeping calories low.
If I work a desk job, what type of workout should I be doing? Working a desk job leads to chronic shortening of the pecs (chest), biceps, and hip flexors. This is due to the posture adopted as one sits at a computer all day. The ideal way to combat this problem is to do the opposite of the actions that shorten these muscles. Think of stretching the hip flexors, working on back exercises like rows that pull the shoulders back and doing arm exercises that utilize a full range of motion so as not to aggravate muscles that are already to short. We address this fully in the Dynamics of Motion System.
Can Men and Women both do this program? Yes. Both men and women can work on the same program. Men and women will each see amazing results from all aspects of the system. In fact, if you can get a training partner (man or woman), you may find you will get faster results and enjoy your workouts even more! So, talk to your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, brother, sister, or just get anyone you can train with, because it will help motivate you and keep you on track!
Wouldn’t this work better in a gym? This system will help you to revolutionize your workouts whether you are in a gym or not. It is a totally new way of working with the body to achieve faster and much deeper and long lasting results. It will help you to build areas of the body that will be a tremendous aid in preventing injury and getting you moving more naturally and freely than you would have thought possible. Using the outdoors adds a new and exciting element to the workouts that will truly invigorate you. In this program you will be utilizing uneven terrain, adverse conditions like hot and cold, and items that are not perfectly balanced to help you build a strong, lean, powerful body. Yes, you can do Levels I and II in a gym, but Level III must be done outside. And we hope you will consider doing as much of Levels I and II outside as you can. You will truly enjoy your workouts much more if you do.
What if I miss a workout in this program? This
is one of the most frequently asked questions. If you miss a workout,
it is not the end of the world. Do not skip over one day, because you
missed that day of the program. Start from where you left off just
like you normally would. The main point is that you should not let it
become a habit. It serves absolutely no purpose to beat yourself up or
quit. Constant beating yourself up will not help you get you faster
results. Remember, no individual is perfect and we all make
mistakes. The faster you can let go of your mistake, the faster you
can get back on track and kick some butt!
